Binder

Purpose

The binder is the core of the application. It keeps organized all your assets and your maintenances.

Fields

Title

Your binder title should tell what's inside. Therefore, it must be specific and informative to its usage. Note that you're limited to 22 characters.

Description

This is where you can describe the binder more in detail.

Category

The category of your binder must reflect what's inside as it determines specific automated options which help organize elements in your binder. You can always choose the Custom type if you want customizable options.

By default, we upload a generic image related to the chosen category, but we recommend that you upload one that allows users to easily identify your binder. This will be used throughout the application (Web and Mobile).

Settings

Favorite

You're able to configure up to 5 favorite binders by selecting the ⭐. These will show up first where favorites are used.

Privacy

All binders are private when created. This ensures that only users with permissions to the binder can access elements in your binder.

By changing this setting you can make your binder public. When enabled, people who access the QR codes of assets in a public binder can report maintenances and. If you change the binder to private, this function will be disabled.

When making your binder Public, elements in your binder are made available publicly.
